Our name, Strativa, is formed from the words active and strategy. We define active
strategies as
business and technology initiatives that are practical and effective, with a bias toward action and
real-world implementation.
When
it comes to strategy—whether business strategy or IT
strategy—companies often go to extremes. They either separate strategy from action, becoming bogged down
in a long process of “strategic planning” before they take any
action. Or, they rush to take action without a clear strategy.
In
the first extreme, by the time the strategic plan is complete, it is out
of date. In the other extreme, there may be movement, but no clear
direction. As the Cheshire Cat said to Alice, "if you don’t know where
you are going ... then it doesn't matter which way you go."
We
believe in helping our clients adopt active strategies. Deciding the destination before starting the journey—and
selecting the path that will get you there safely and quickly. |
