Daniel
Husiak
manages
our Strategic Decisions
group. He has an extensive background in business strategy and
business process reengineering, with experience in a wide range of industries,
including financial services, information services, manufacturing, distribution, health
care, commercial real estate, and Internet-based businesses. Prior
to co-founding Strativa, he was Director of Business Process Reengineering and a Senior Consultant
at TRW/Experian, a $1.6 billion credit reporting and information services
company, where he initiated and led a series of business strategy and process
improvement projects. He was also Director of Marketing and Business Development and Director
of Planning and Development for other commercial divisions of TRW. Before that he held a series of management positions at AT&T, where
he was involved in planning divestiture and post-divestiture strategy.
Dr.
Husiak holds a Ph.D. and an M.S. from New York University, and a B.S. from City
College of New York. His expertise in change management was also enhanced by his experience as
a Peace Corps volunteer in Sierra Leone, West Africa.
Mr.
Husiak is also the Vice President, Business Development, of Computer
Economics, our sister IT research and advisory firm.

Frank Scavo manages our
Applications Decisions and IT Infrastructure Decisions groups. Prior to co-founding Strativa, he
served as a
management consultant and IT professional for companies in a broad range of
industries, including life sciences, manufacturing, wholesale distribution, retail, health
care, and
information services. He is a frequent speaker on the subject of enterprise
system issues and trends, software validation and FDA regulatory
compliance, and
e-business strategy. He has spoken to professional societies such as APICS, American Institute
of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Manufacturers
Alliance, the Institute for Supply Management (ISM), and the California
Society of CPAs, to industry events such as the Giga Information Technology
Exchange, ERP World, Distribution Computer Seminar, and Softworld Manufacturing
Expo, as well as to various technology user groups.
Mr.
Scavo is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania. He is a Certified Fellow in Production and Inventory Management
(CFPIM)
and is Certified in Integrated Resource Management (CIRM) by APICS, the
Educational Society for Resource Management. He is a technology advisor to the Gerson-Lehrman Group, an investment
advisory firm.
Mr.
Scavo is also the President of Computer
Economics, our sister IT research and advisory firm.

Bob Gilson
leads the Operations Excellence practice within our Applications
Decisions group. He has over 25 years of experience in business
process improvement and reengineering, supply chain management, and
information systems. He has held senior management and partner positions
with leading consulting organizations, such Coopers & Lybrand,
PricewaterhouseCoopers, and AT&T Solutions.
Prior to his
association with Strativa, Mr. Gilson was Director in the Supply Chain Transformation practice for PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he
was responsible for business development and project management in
supply chain areas to clients in high tech, consumer products, and
entertainment industries. Among his accomplishments at PwC, he managed
the development of MyAircraft.com, an Internet B2B marketplace exchange in
the aerospace industry. Earlier, Mr. Gilson was a Client Partner at
AT&T Solutions, where was the project manager for a three year $30M
project for a major auto manufacturer to implement ERP and
product data management (PDM) systems in multiple countries. The project
was highlighted in AT&T's Annual Report as the largest and most
successful consulting project in the first year of AT&T Solution's launch.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Gilson was founder and principal of The
Delphi Resource, Inc., a management consulting firm specializing in IT
strategy, implementation, change management, and large scale business
process re-engineering projects, primarily in connection with large
scale information systems development.
Mr. Gilson is
Certified Fellow in Production and Inventory Management (CFPIM) and
Certified in Integrated Resource Management (CIRM) by APICS--The
Educational Society for Resource Management, and he has been an officer
for a number of APICS chapters. He is a Certified Management Consultant
(CMC). He is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin, and he has been
an instructor at both California State University and Northrup
University. He is one of the original co-authors of the book
"CompMfg," which was used worldwide as a reference in
identifying features and functions of enterprise systems to achieve
operational effectiveness.
